TAW graduates win European Animation Awards

The European Animation Award aka The Emilie Award has been awarded, and 6 prizes have been awarded to TAW graduates.
This years prestigious Emilie Awards have been awarded and TAW is extreemly proud of our graduates who took home 6 prizes.

This weekend the European Animation Award, The Emilie Award, was awarded. And The Animation Workshop is extremely proud of our graduates who has been involved in the winning of 6 of the 18 Emilie Awards.

“The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe” is created by Sun Creature, a company made by TAW-graduates. And this project won 4 Emilie Awards:

BEST STORYBOARD IN A TV / BROADCAST PRODUCTION
BEST CHARACTER ANIMATION IN A TV / BROADCAST PRODUCTION
BEST BACKGROUND & CHARACTER DESIGN IN A TV / BROADCAST PRODUCTION

And the Emilie Award for BEST ACHIEVEMENT IN A COMMISSIONED FILM went to the movie "A most precise and nuanced look into the life of the man, legend and visionary - Martin Luther" created by Tumblehead, which is formed by three TAW-graduates: Mette Tange, Magnus Igland Møller and Peter Smith.

The award for BEST BACKGROUND & CHARACTER DESIGN IN A FEATURE FILM went to "The Breadwinner" which has TAW graduate Sandra Andersen on board as character designer.
