CAGA24 is a collaboration between Aalborg University, The Animation Workshop, VIA University College, and AG Animationsfilm.
The CAGA24 conference, the seventh in the series, was held as part of Viborg Animation Festival 2024 — and the conference report has now been released.
The report is peer-reviewed and, within the conference’s overarching theme “The (R)Evolution of Animation: Current Challenges and Future Directions,” offers readers the opportunity to delve into a wide range of articles on the future of animation, developments and trends within the field, the challenges ahead, and themes such as virtual production, AI, and much more.
"The challenges ahead are substantial, but the intellectual rigor and innovative spirit reflected in these pages suggest a field well-positioned to meet them, fostering a future for animation that is both technologically advanced and deeply engaged with the complexities of the world it reflects and shapes."
