The Animation Workshop/ VIA University College is looking for an intern who can rock our PR department. Are you game?

The Animation Workshop/ VIA University College is looking for a really cool, skilled and hardworking intern.
The internship will take place in our PR department from January or February 1st 2019 and last between 4-6 months (depending on your studies)

You will join a team of 7 people who work with all the communication, PR and graphics that The Animation Workshop (TAW) needs. You will be a part of the daily life and work as well as parties and social gatherings of TAW – on equal terms with the 60+ dedicated and fun staffers working in the creative and international atmosphere here in the former barracks of Viborg.

During your internship, you will be provided with a laptop, a phone and personal guidance for your internship, and we will give you the best introduction possible to TAW. 

Furthermore, we offer to pay your transportation expenses or we can accommodate you in Viborg during your internship at TAW.

So what will you be doing at TAW?

Your tasks will vary a lot, so it is super important that you have an open mind and are willing to take on many different assignments – including, but not limited to:

  • Writing drafts for press releases (in Danish and English)
  • Writing drafts for articles about The Animation Workshop (in Danish and English)
  • Updating our web pages
  • Writing posts and updating our social media
  • Contact to the media
  • Coordinating practical aspects of our different projects
  • Organizing small events
  • General office assistance
  • Research and documentation
  • Graphic assistance
  • Practical tasks connected to organizing workshops, courses and taking part in meetings


And who are you? 

  • You study communication, journalism, Danish, English or another relevant education
  • You’re outgoing and able to work independently
  • A team player!
  • You’re well organized and have good collaboration and communication skills
  • You thrive in a creative environment, where things at times can get hectic and super busy
  • You write and speak Danish and English fluently
  • You have a strong interest in PR, Communication and Social Media
  • You like working with homepages and preferably know both Sitecore and Wordpress
  • You know Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Ideally, you’re passionate about animation, comics, and/or other types of visual storytelling

Your internship will be varied, eventful and interesting, and should of course be seen as an integrated part of your education. Generally, you will get the chance to test your talent and create a big network within the animation and art world that you can make use of in the future.

Consequently, TAW offers the possibility of professional and personal development, and the very unique work environment is characterized by a busy, but always cheerful and positive atmosphere. We are a very international group, so you will need your English skills in your work.
