VAF welcomes the Participant of NiNoKo Universe Accelerator 2019! Join us for their presentations on NiNoKo Pitch Day on Monday the 23rd!

On the 24th of September NiNoKo organise a Reception to celebrate the Participants at 5pm at VAF Café Kimchi!

NiNoKo Universe Accelerator 2019 is an IP business development residency, which offers artists a unique opportunity to work on a personal project with guidance from a considered and dedicated mentor and inputs from a series of workshops – all designed to help the project rise from creative idea to concrete business proposition. Games, Animated shorts and documentaries, VR, AR and transmedia projects were selected for NiNoKo 2019.

The Participants arrived from Japan, South Korea and Scandinavia to spend an intensive month in Viborg. During their stay they are guided by inspiring lecturers, professional mentors to develop their IPs!

Can't wait to see the results and listen their final presentation at The Pitch Day on the 23rd of September! The best project will have several other opportunities during VAF and beyond to kick off with their spectacular and thoughtful ideas! Congratulations for the selection again:

Several mentors have been matched with the participants according to their projects and their objectives during NiNoKo. From South Korea, Eric Daeyoung Lee and Dahee Jeong will follow up animated short/series projects. From Japan, Kensuke Shimoda will guide the game projects alongside Søren Jønsson from Denmark. From the USA, Edwon, will oversee the digital and new media concepts. Finally, Amalie Olesen and Mikkel Mainz from Denmark will supervise the story development. The producer Michelle Kranot will coordinate these mentors, ensuring they meet the participants’ needs.

NiNoKo Universe Accelerator runs for 4 weeks between the 2nd and 29th of September 2019 and takes place at The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark in partnership with Arsenalet, creative cluster, exclusively for artists selected from across Japan, South Korea and Scandinavia. http://www.universe-accelerator.com
