English language requirements

If English is not your first language, you must document your English language level. This is unconditional!

According to the executive order on admissions to higher education, you are required to deliver proof of English proficiency in order to qualify for admissions to educations offered in English.

This means that all applicants will have to document English equivalent to a Danish B-level with a minimum average weighted grade score of 3,0 (min. 210 hours, 1 hour = 60 minutes during the final three years in upper secondary school). For applicants with international High School diplomas, the grades will be converted into Danish grades. Below, you can see how you can document the required level.

The deadline for submitting valid proof of English proficiency – either as a High School diploma or as a proficiency test – is July 5th at noon (upload the test through www.optagelse.dk).
