  • Structure and content

Drawing realistic portraits is very complex and takes a lot of practice. But if you know the methods of constructing the head, face and features, you can easily practice on your own, either drawing yourself in front of the mirror or drawing friends and relatives. The approach taken in this course is inspired by the renaissance masters, and the teacher will show you the methods of portrait drawing taught on The Drawing Academy and help you understand the relevant anatomy. In this course, you will spend most of the time on portrait drawing exercises, but there will also be class instructions and individual feedback.

This course is open for beginners as well as students with a solid experience in drawing, who are interested in improving their skills in portrait drawing. The teacher will give individual feedback according each student’s skills.
