What you will learn

During this course, Sergey will introduce you to the oil painting techniques. As a student in this course, most of the time you will be working on still lives from observation, making short and long studies. The teacher will explain how to organise your palette, which colours, mediums and brushes to use, and he will you walk you through the process of creating a painting including steps like creating an underdrawing, then applying underpainting, blocking in and finally how to finish the painting. 

Previous experience is not necessary, but everyone will be taught at their level, so students who are already experienced in painting are also welcome.

Time schedule

Saturday and Sunday both days 9-16 with one hour lunch break.

Who can apply?

The weekend course is open for anyone who is ready to spend two full days of painting, and can follow the teaching in English.

How to apply

The course is first-sign-first-serve so you can sign up as long as there are open seats in the course and the link is available.

We keep a waiting list in case of cancellations, if you try to sign up but the course is full, you will be asked if you want to register on the waiting list.

Payment and cancellation

You will be asked to pay for the course when signing up. When signed up, you can cancel your seat and get a full refund of the course fee until one month before the course starts.

    The course price includes teaching and art materials.

    Food and accommodation is not included in the course fee, but coffee and tea will be available.
