  • Instructors

The Animation Workshop/VIA University College (TAW) hires active animation professionals and experts from studios across the globe. We naturally make changes in the guest teaching staff according to availability.

Please see ANIDOX:LAB for more information on the tutors for the current edition of the lab.

  • Fees and finances

The course is 700 EUR. TAW offers three types of scholarships to help fund your course.

The fee is the same for all participants regardless of nationality, unless awarded a scholarship. The Animation Workshop, VIA UC first and foremost offers scholarships to course participants from the so-called low capacity countries within the EU, primarily consisting of Eastern European countries. But in special cases, course participants from other EU countries, as well as non-EU countries, will be taken into consideration as well. The Animation Workshop's opportunities to award scholarships are very limited, therefore we expect applicants to also actively seek funding elsewhere. Please submit evidence of your funding applications. You should ask your local Creative Europe Desk for advice about which options are available to you in your region.

You can apply for three types of scholarships:

    • Travel to and from Viborg (module 1 & 3) and Copenhagen (module 2) before and after each module
    • Housing (rent and utilities)
    • Course fee (partly or fully covered)

Please note, you must submit a course application form before you can apply for a scholarship. You can apply for multiple categories but please be realistic about what you need. Some applicants rely completely on a scholarship to be able to attend the course. You will receive an invoice for the entire course fee shortly before the start of the course. This will be sent as a PDF attachment to your e-mail.
