TAW has experience of years of collaborative work with UNESCO and a wide number of NGO’s in the field of developing professional creative skills and creativity in all levels of education worldwide. As a part of strengthening Denmark’s profile as a creative nation and Viborg as a town dedicated to media arts, the center worked in close collaboration with Viborg Municipality to apply for Viborg to become a UNESCO Creative City. This application was founded on the values and results of the collaborative work between the municipality and the center through 25 years: High quality artistic production, Driver of sustainable growth, Branding and local identity, Tools for inclusion, empowerment, lifelong learning and media literacy, Networks and exchange of experience internationally, Democratic dissemination and communication, Creativity and innovative solutions.
