The first week of your studies will focus on introductory information and getting to know The Animation Workshop, the teachers and your fellow students.
We recommend that you arrive in Viborg in the weeks prior to your study start and get settled.

Equipment for start of study
- Students admitted to Character Animation and Computer Graphic Arts are recommended to bring their drawing tablets.
- Students admitted to Graphic Storytelling will be expected to bring their own personal computer. We also recommend the students bring a personal drawing tablet.

New international students
Find more information for new students and prepare your stay in Viborg and be ready to start your studies by late August.
As an international students you must check up on your insurances, set up a bank account, go to Aarhus (SIRI) to get a social security number (CPR), etc. We recommend you to get this settled before study start.
Housing

VIA recommends staying at Camp Logos, a student dormitory located right next to campus. Camp Logos houses both Danish and international students. Find more information about housing.
